Talk and Tea

Every other Thursday 12:30
Next Date: 10th March

Many people feel lonely or isolated, for some the only human voice they hear is the  television or radio. Instead of being alone why not come and spend time with a warm welcoming and friendly group?

We are a group of over thirty people who come together to listen to a short and often lively talk followed by a great lunch and  tea and coffee. There are always a lot of smiles and laughs and we would love you to join us.

Mums and Tots

Friday 9:30am-11am (Term Time)

Come and join us for a morning of fun and laughter. Doors open at 9:30am with lots of toys ready for free play. Breakfast time for children is at 10:00 am with tea, coffee and toast for adults when the children are finished.

A Bible story with craft for the children is very popular and a ‘thought for the day’ for the adults. Tidy up time is followed by singing on the mat.  We sing lots of songs and there is an opportunity to join in playing a musical instrument.

Due to Covid-19 the following events are temporarily postponed

Care Homes

Sunday Afternoons

Every week members at Libanus Church visit a local nursing home to provide a service for the residents. We visit each of these homes once a month taking the good news and hope of Jesus to the residents. During our services we will read from the Bible, give a short talk and sing familiar well-known hymns many of the residents love to join in with singing the same songs they grew up with.
