At Libanus we have a wide variety of events and groups for all ages and types of people. Everyone will be given a warm welcome at all of our events, please find further information below.

Morning Service

Sunday 10:30am (Church Building)

Our morning services are open to everyone, there is no dress code. We gather to worship God through singing  Bible reading, prayer and a message.

Creche facilities are available.

Following our service we provide tea and coffee (and some treats) for a chance to get to know one another.

Currently our services are a little different because of COVID-19 but the building is open. We also have an online service.

Evening Service

Sunday 6:00pm (Church Building)

Our Evening service is open for everyone to come and hear the good news of Jesus. No matter who you are or what you have done we invite you to come and hear the truth of Jesus. Through prayer, reading, singing and preaching we are encouraged and worship God.

Our Evening Service is in Person and then posted online on our YouTube channel every week.

Prayer Meeting

Wednesday 7:30pm (Zoom)

Prayer is the engine room of the Church. We believe that a church needs to be wholly reliant on God through prayer to support the works of the Church.

We gather to hear a message that points us towards prayer and then members will share and pray to our living God.

If you would like to join us for our Bible Study and prayer meeting then please contact us we would love to see you.

Praying Hands

Sunday Prayer Group

Sunday 5:15pm (Schoolroom)

Because of the importance and need for prayer we have recently started an additional weekly prayer meeting for those who are able to attend.

We meet every Sunday before the evening service to allow time to pray together in person. We meet in the Schoolroom which is joined to the main Church building.

If you would like to join us for a time of prayer we would love to see you at our meeting.

Talk and Tea

Every other Thursday 12:30
Next Date: 22nd September

Many people feel lonely or isolated, for some the only human voice they hear is the  television or radio. Instead of being alone why not come and spend time with a warm welcoming and friendly group?

We are a group of over thirty people who come together to listen to a short and often lively talk followed by a great lunch and  tea and coffee. There are always a lot of smiles and laughs and we would love you to join us.

Mums and Tots

Friday 9:30am-11am (Term Time)

Come and join us for a morning of fun and laughter. Doors open at 9:30am with lots of toys ready for free play. Breakfast time for children is at 10:00 am with tea, coffee and toast for adults when the children are finished.

A Bible story with craft for the children is very popular and a ‘thought for the day’ for the adults. Tidy up time is followed by singing on the mat.  We sing lots of songs and there is an opportunity to join in playing a musical instrument.

Walking Group

Every other Saturday 10:30

Next Date: 20th August

Our walking group meets twice a month (May-September) on Saturday morning (weather dependent) in various locations.

We enjoy a lovely walk and have the opportunity to meet new people and build friendships. We would love for you to join us on Saturdays at 10:30am. Suitable for all ages and dogs welcome!
