Harvest Family Service and Lunch

Updated: Sep 28, 2021

God has been good once again as we celebrated our Harvest Family Service together as a Church. Last year our celebration and thanksgiving service was severely impacted because of Covid. However, this year we have been able to hold a more familiar service.

We were so pleased to see everyone who came including students, non-Christians, refugees, first time visitors, returning visitors, friends we haven’t seen since lockdown and of course our regulars as well.

Our Family service included a few hymns, prayer, bible reading, a children’s talk and lively kids’ song followed by a gospel themed message given by John Woolley. John looked at the rainbow that God placed in the sky and how we have a guarantee and a reminder that God keeps all of his promises.

After the service over 60 people stayed for a free meal of cawl with all the trimmings, then we enjoyed teas, coffees and a wide range of cakes and sweet treats. If you would like to listen to our Harvest message you can do so below or on our YouTube Channel.

If you would like to join us for one of our Libanus meals, then we have a Talk and Tea event every other Thursday open for everyone. Our next Talk and Tea event is on Thursday 30th September, 12:30pm in the Centrepoint building.
