Morriston Park Fun Day with Libanus Church

Updated: Sep 14, 2021

This year Swansea Council has been putting on a series of Park events and Libanus Church were asked to participate in the events happening in Morriston Park. We were staggered by the response with over 1300 people booking to attend the Morriston event.

There were many different activities including fairground rides, hot dog stalls, games, musical entertainment and so much more. Our Church stall included a guess how many sweets in the jar, guess the name of the Teddy bear and guess which box has the sweets.

We also gave away hundreds of goody bags which included colouring pencils, activity sheets, sweets, postcards, leaflets about Friday Night Takeaway/Mums and Tots and a gospel tract in every bag. Please continue to pray for all those families who spoke with us at the stall and took a gospel tract with them.

Since the event so many people have reached out thanking us for being present and engaging with the children and them, however we could not achieve what we do at community events if it was not for the work and commitment of our volunteers.

If you know anyone with children who are in Primary school, please let them know to keep their eyes peeled on the Libanus Website for a start date. For younger preschool children our Libanus Tots group will also be reopening in the future.

We are very pleased to be a church to reach out into the community with hope that there is a saviour, there is one who can rescue you, Jesus who is God himself.

We hope that you will be able to join us at our next community event!
