This weekend we celebrated the Platinum Jubilee. As the Nation remembered and gave thanks for the Queen’s character and diligence in her 70 year service. As a Church we took this opportunity to celebrate the Queen’s Jubilee and build stronger relationships within and outside Libanus Church.
Kids Talk
Our Jubilee Kids Talk reminded us that however long a 70 year royal reign is it cannot be compared to the eternal Kingdom of Jesus. We are reminded that he is the King of King and Lord of Lords who will always be the ruler of all. The full video can be viewed here.
Talk and Tea
On Thursday 26th June we had our Talk and Tea celebration event with our guest speaker and friend of the Church Paul Davies from Waterfront. There was a wide variety of cake and tea and we were delighted with the attendance and participation. Our next Talk and Tea event will be held on Thursday 9th June, 12:30pm at Centrepoint.
Libanus Tots
Friday was our well attended Jubilee Party at Libanus’ Toddler Group. We celebrated with a buffet and ample amount go cake and treats we even set up our slide and climbing apparatus, played using the parachute and enjoyed a Quiz about the Queen and ended as always with some well loved songs. Our Tots group is open every Friday 9:30am-11am during term time, we would love to see you there.
Jubilee Lunch
Sunday saw us come together as a Church for our Sunday service. However, afterwards we held a free buffet style lunch. We shared together in this Jubilee Lunch building friendships and community with eachother other.

Walking Group
We have started a Summer Walking Group which runs every two weeks on a Saturday Morning. We have had some great outings already and this Saturday 11th June we'll be walking along the Millennium Coastal Path, meeting at the millennium quay car park at 10:30 am (SA15 2LD). We would love for you to join us.
Christianity Explored
Do you have any questions about Christianity? Each Sunday evening for the next few weeks we are meeting at 6pm at Libanus Church gathered around tables to talk about what Christians really believe. This is a great opportunity for those who have questions about what Christianity is all about and why it has changed so many people’s lives for the better.
